Education Coordinator - Kim

Hi! I am this years Education Coordinator for the Come Play On Our River program. This will be my fifth year working with the program and I have enjoyed watching it grow. I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate from St. Thomas University with a double major in Psychology, with special attention to developmental and child developmental psychology and Criminology.  I am pleased to let you know that by the time camp starts I will have completed my Bachelor of Education degree. I have also taken classes in Outdoor pursuits as well as science and biology courses, providing a backing to the ecological aspects of the program. I also have canoe safety, First Aid and CPR. Fishing and Fly tying have become a passion of mine and I take great pride in promoting the Miramichi culture.

Education Coordinator - Robyn

Hey! I am currently an Environmental Studies Major at St. Thomas University. Having grown up on the "Mighty Miramichi", I take particular pride in the area. Having taken such courses as Environmental Problems, and Science courses, I am proud to promote the preservation of the river, not to mention children's education of it. I am qualified in First Aid Training, level one CPR, and canoe safety; and am appreciative of the maturity level, and focus on safety of our counsellors. Being one of two Education Coordinators, this is my fourth year working with the program. I am looking forward to us surpassing our past year's attendance level, while thoroughly enjoying my position. Training and planning will begin soon, so be sure to sign up quickly!
