The Atlantic Salmon Museum is located just off Route 8 in the Village of Doaktown, approximately 85 km from both Fredericton and the City of Miramichi.  Access from Moncton and Saint John is available via Route 123.  For hikers, 4-wheelers and snowmobilers, the Trans-Canada Trail also passes in and around Doaktown crossing Route 8 at a point less than a kilometer from the Salmon Museum.

Our season officially begins on the first weekend in June and ends on or about October 15.

During that time our hours are Monday – Saturday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) and Sunday (12:00 Noon – 5:00 pm). Please note that our Aquarium is available to the public between July 1 – August 31 only.

We are also open by appointment all year round for tours or special events.
