Location

The Atlantic Salmon Museum is located just off Route 8 in the Village of Doaktown, approximately 85 km from both Fredericton and the City of Miramichi.  Access from Moncton and Saint John is available via Route 123.  For hikers, 4-wheelers and snowmobilers, the Trans-Canada Trail also passes in and around Doaktown crossing Route 8 at a point less than a kilometer from the Salmon Museum.

 

HOURS OF OPERATION

Our season officially begins on the first weekend in June and ends on or about October 15.

During that time our hours are Monday – Saturday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) and Sunday (12:00 Noon – 5:00 pm). Please note that our Aquarium is available to the public between July 1 – August 31 only.

We are also open by appointment all year round for tours or special events.
